The Good Samaritans was Registered under the Societies Act.
Sewing and Tailoring Class started with 2 Tailoring Machines.
Rigging bore wells in Tirnelvelli District as per the list given by the District Collector.
The Deadly Cinema Theater Fire Accident in Tuticorin and Relief and Rehabilitation for the Victims.
Partnership was born with the Calgary Friends.

1980
The Good Samaritans was Registered under Income Tax 12A.
Partnership with Compassion of India for the educating 200 most needy children.
Started Training in Type-writing course.
Constructed 110 Houses for the Fisherman community who lost their thatched roofs in fire.

1981
Primary Health Center, Arasarady Panaiyur village.

1983
Basket Making Project.

1984
Printing and Binding Project.
Jeyaseeli, our student achieved First rank in Tamil Nadu State Level Type-writing Examination.
Received FCRA Number from Home Ministry.
Calgary Friends first visit.

Calgary Friends visit.

Barati Literacy Programme started in Alknanda Slums, New Delhi.

1991
Barati Literacy Programme started in Dhakshinpuri Slums, New Delhi.

1992
Literacy Program started in Rajwadi village, Gujarat State.

1994
Barati Literacy Programme Books Published in 6 Tribal Languages.

1996
Literacy Programme School Started in Ranchi, Jharkhand States.

1999
First Summer Camp in Delhi.

2001
Construction of 231 Houses for the Earth Quake Victims in Mathak Village, Alwar Dist, Gujarat State.
Delhi Development Authority (DDA) provides two acre land to The Good Samaritans to construct
Senior Secondary School for slum Children, New Delhi.
TGS obtains Income Tax Exemption under section 80G.

2002
Computer course training started.

2006
TGS obtains Income Tax Exemption under section 35AC from Finance Ministry.

2010
TGS Multi-purpose Center in Hyderabad.

2011
Constructing 2741 houses for the riot victims of Kandhamal, Orissa state.

2012
TGS Higher Secondary School in Delhi received State Award for Inclusive Learning.
